National Health Service Co-Funding and Co-Payment Bill

This bill allows NHS patients in England to be charged for certain services, including missed appointments, non-qualifying hospital stays after 48 hours, and elective weekend care. It fundamentally changes NHS funding by introducing patient co-payments.

A Bill to make provision for co-funding and for the extension of co-payment for NHS services in England; and for connected purposes.
