This bill puts three government ethics watchdogs into law so they cannot be easily removed or abolished by future governments. It sets out their powers to investigate ministers, oversee public job appointments, and check business conflicts of interest.
A Bill to make provision about mechanisms for promoting and protecting standards of integrity and ethics in the public service; and for connected purposes.
