Offshore Petroleum Licensing Bill

This bill requires the North Sea Transition Authority to hold annual licensing rounds for new offshore oil and gas production licences, provided two tests are met: domestic gas must be less carbon-intensive than imported gas, and the UK must remain a net importer of oil and gas.

To make provision about licences to search and bore for and get offshore petroleum.
